Redwood Capital Group Announces Promotions

New York, November 7, 2006 - Redwood Capital Group, a leading investment banking firm serving the technology, communications and media industries, announced today that Robert Dressler has been promoted to Partner; David Freeland has been promoted to Vice President; and Janny Lee has been promoted to Vice President.

Rob Dressler, Partner, has been with Redwood Capital since its inception and has taken a leadership role in some of the firm's most significant transactions, including the recent sales of both Meetinghouse Data Communications and Audium Corporation to Cisco Systems. Rob is primarily responsible for the coverage of communication technologies and services for Redwood Capital, with a focus on wireless and mobility-related companies. Rob brings over 14 years experience working with technology companies as an investment professional, an advisor and in operational roles. Prior to Redwood Capital, Rob held management positions with Internet Capital Group, MapQuest.com, Mitchell Madison Group and AT&T. He holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS degree with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University.
David Freeland, Vice President, brought his extensive banking and management consulting background to Redwood Capital in 2005 and since then has played an integral role in supporting many of the firm's prominent clients in the communications and technology industries. Before joining Redwood Capital, David was a technology investment banker at Americas Growth Capital, and prior to business school he worked as a management consultant at Monitor Group and CRA International. David holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Middlebury College.
Janny Lee, Vice President, joined Redwood Capital in 2005, bringing her significant banking, operating and entrepreneurial experience to the firm and has since been actively involved with many of Redwood's leading clients across the technology, communications and media industries. Prior to joining Redwood Capital, Janny was Director of Corporate Finance at Primedia, Inc., a Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. portfolio company and Senior Industry Analyst for Triene Inc., a Goldman Sachs Ventures company. Janny began her investment banking career at Banc of America Securities and Goldman Sachs. Janny holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
