Cyoptics Acquires TriQuint Semiconductor's Optoelectronics Operation

New York, May 11, 2005 - CyOptics, Inc., a private optical components manufacturer announced the acquisition of Triquint's optoelectronics business. The sale includes Triquint's products, manufacturing equipment, inventory, the Mexican entity, related intellectual property rights and other assets that constitute the operation that manufactures indium phosphide (InP) optical chips and components for the optical networking market.
