Analyst
The Analyst role is an entry-level position supporting the senior investment banking team in executing mergers, acquisitions, private placements and similar transactions.  This work primarily involves researching companies and sectors, building and preparing sophisticated financial models, conducting due diligence, preparing client presentations and related activities.  This provides Analysts with a rigorous foundation in the key skills necessary for building a career in investment banking.  Analyst candidates should have demonstrated a strong academic record from a leading college or university. 

Associate
Associates are able to assume significant responsibility early in their careers with our firm by playing an important role in supporting senior members of the investment banking team and our firm’s clients in executing mergers, acquisitions, private placements and similar transactions.  Responsibilities include creating valuation models, preparing client presentations, drafting offering documents and working directly with clients, buyers, and investors on transactions as well as managing the work of the more junior professionals.  The ideal Associate candidate will have demonstrated a strong academic record from a leading college or university and hold an MBA or similar graduate or professional degree and preferably have had prior investment banking or similar experience.
