Jeen Pae Partner

Jeen Pae is a Partner at Redwood Capital focusing on IT services and software companies. During his career, he has consummated over $6 billion of M&A, equity and debt financing transactions. Jeen has been actively involved with technology companies for over 20 years -- founding an IT Services consultancy, leading an engineering team at Oracle Corporation and advising technology companies as an investment banker.

Prior to joining Redwood Capital, Jeen was a senior member of JPMorgan’s Technology Investment Banking Group, where he advised software and IT services companies, including Accenture, BearingPoint and PEC Solutions. Jeen also worked in Credit Suisse First Boston’s Leveraged Finance Group where he was responsible for execution of LBO, M&A and equity transactions for financial sponsor and middle market clients, including Titan Systems, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Bain Capital, Citicorp Venture Capital and Madison Dearborn. Jeen also spent several years at Lehman Brothers and CIBC structuring and marketing highly complex derivative transactions. He began his career at Oracle Corporation where he led a software product development team in the Applications Division and consulting teams in the Professional Services Division.

Jeen holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in computer science from Brown University.

Redwood Advises Cogmed Systems AB in its Sale to Pearson plc
Karolinska Development has divested Cogmed, one of Karolinska Development’s portfolio companies, to Pearson where it will become part of Pearson’s Clinical Assessment business. Karolinksa Development and other owners will receive an up front payment, as well as tiered royalties up to double digit levels until June 2012 on Cogmed sales.
Redwood Advises Birch in Debt Offering
